In the past days new signings and contract extensions were announced at HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice, EK Die Zeller Eisbären, EHC Lustenau and HC Meran/o Pircher. The following is an overview.

At HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice two more contract extensions and one new signing were announced. Miha Logar will go in his second season with Jesenice. The defender already had 18 Alps Hockey League games for the Steelers last season, he also played for HK SŽ Olimpija in the win2day ICE Hockey League. With the Slovenian national team, the 26-year-old promoted to the top division.

With Ziga Urukalo another player stays with Jesenice. The 23-year-old plays his total career in the jersey of the Slovenians. In 212 AHL games so far, the defender scored 80 points.

Additionally 21-year-old Rudolfs Polcs will play for Jesenice in the coming season. The Latvian international last played with HK Mogo, scoring 38 points in 27 games.

Veteran Schernthaner stays in Zell am See
Johannes Schernthaner extended his contract with EK Die Zeller Eisbären. The 29-year-old defender has already played 497 games in the jersey of the Salzburg side since 2006 and reached the AHL playoffs for the first time in the past season.

Two new defenders for Lustenau
With Julian Auer and Simon Gratzer the EHC Lustenau signed two new defenders. 23-year-old Auer last played with league rival Bregenzerwald. 20-year-old Gratzer was last active in the youth of Innsbruck.

Veteran Mitterer stays in Meran/o
35-year-old Thomas Mitterer will go in Meran/o in his 17th professional season. The center played his total career with the Eagles, except the 2008/09, where he was under contract with Milano.
