The Moser Medical Graz99ers have signed forward Axel Wemmenborn. The Swedish center comes from HockeyAllsvenskan club AIK. While defender Lorenzo Casetti extended his contract with Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey, Hydro Fehérvár AV19 completed the coaching staff with Tyler Dietrich.

Moser Medical Graz99ers have strengthened the attack with Axel Wemmenborn. The center comes from HockeyAllsvenskan club AIK, previously he was on the ice for four years in the SHL for Malmö. The coaches of Graz know the qualities of Wemmenborn and bring the 31-year-old for this reason also to Styria. "Axel is a two way center who can handle the puck very well, likes to be in front of the goal and is always 100% professional," says head coach Pennerborn.

Statement Axel Wemmenborn: "I am really looking forward to Graz and the 99ers. We have a good team next season and I'm sure that my way of playing hockey will help everywhere on the ice!"

Tyler Dietrich back with Fehérvár
Tyler Dietrich is back in Szekesfehérvár, becoming the new assistant coach of Dávid Kiss. The 39-year-old worked with the Hungarians from 2011 to 2016, mainly in the junior teams. He won the Young Stars League (U20) together with his then assistant coach Kiss. Afterwards Dietrich moved to the Canadian Hockey Association, where he held various positions. "I've been very fortunate to work with many of the best coaches, managers and players in the world over the past seven years. It’s a really special and exciting feeling to come back to Fehérvár. David and I helped each other a lot in the 4 seasons we worked together. I’m really proud of everything he has accomplished and I’m looking forward to contributing to the coaching staff," Dietrich reports.

Lorenzo Casetti stays in Asiago
Lorenzo Casetti joined Asiago in 2012, where he became a top defender over teh years. Between January 2017 and January 2023, the Italian international did not miss a game, playing a total of 352 games for Asiago during that time. In the past win2day ICE Hockey League season, the 29-year-old recorded one goal and five assists. "We laid a good foundation in the past season, and now we want to build on that. Our goal is to finish in the top-6," Casetti says.
