Zach Sill will strengthen the HC Pustertal Wölfe in the coming season. The Canadian played 93 games in the NHL and moved to Europe in 2018. With Sparta Prague (one year) and most recently with the Kölner Haie (four years), the 34-year-old predominantly filled the role as a defensive, hard-working center. "I can't wait to come to Bruneck, get going and show the Pustertal fans what I'm willing to give for the team and club. I want to help the guys reach the playoffs and be as successful as possible. I come from a small town in Canada and I'm especially looking forward to the energy and cohesion that exists in such smaller realities," said the newcomer.

Gooch signs on in Ljubljana
The HK SZ Olimpija secured the services of Trevor Gooch, who won the Danish championship with the Aalborg Pirates on Tuesday. The 28-year-old US American scored 55 points this season. In addition, the forward has already been active in Europe with MAC HKB Újbuda in Hungary and the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan in the Alps Hockey League. "I decided to come to Ljubljana because I see a great opportunity here. I am looking forward to the challenge and I will do my best to get the club back on the winning track. I've heard a lot of good things about the city and I'm looking forward to the new challenge. Every season is a new beginning, so I can't wait to get to know my new team," said Trevor Gooch about his move to Ljubljana.

Contract extensions in Graz and Klagenfurt
The Moser Medical Graz99ers and Jacob Pfeffer have agreed to continue their cooperation for the 2023/24 season. The defender completed 45 games in the past campaign and scored two goals and three assists. At the EC-KAC, the contracts with homegrown players Maximilian Preiml, Tobias Sablattnig and Finn van Ee were extended. Last season, the trio played more or less 300 minutes for the first team.
