Transfer news from eight clubs

No less than eight clubs announced transfer activities in the past days. At Asiago, Linz and Lustenau new players were signed. Contract extensions were announced by the EC-KAC Future Team, Fassa, Jesenice, Zell am See and Ritten.

Asiago signed new center
Last year´s runner-up, Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey signed center Steven Iacobellis. The 27-years-old native of Canada last played in Slovakia and Sweden. Most of his career the right-shooter spent in North America.



Kapel stays at the EC-KAC Future Team

The Slovenian Rok Kapel will play another season with the EC KAC Future Team. It will already be his 3rd season with the Carinthians. However, Valentin Ploner and Alexander Moser will no longer be part of the team.



Iori stays with Fassa

Left wing Diego Iori will play his 4th Alps Hockey League season with the SHC Fassa Falcons. In total it will already be his 15th season with the Italians. In 118 AHL games for the "Falcons" so far, the 35-years-old scored 111 points.



Goalkeeper Avsenik extends at Jesenice

HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice extended with goalkeeper Urban Avsenik. The 23-years-old played 16 games so far in the Alps Hockey League for the Slovenians.



One extension and one new signing at the Steel Wings Linz

At the Steel Wings Linz the contract with Patrick Gaffal was extended. The 26-years-old native of Linz will play his 3rd season with SWL in the Alps Hockey League.

Moreover, the club announced the signing of Niko Lahtinen. The 25-years-old Finn last played with KOOVEE, scoring 37 points in 29 appearances.



Schützenhofer stays at the EKZ

23-years-old forward Bernhard Schützenhofer will stay at the EK Die Zeller Eisbären. For the left-shooter it will be the 2nd season with the Salzburg team. Before his time at the EKZ he played already in the Alps Hockey League at the EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel (30 games), the EC-KAC Future Team (2 games) and the VEU Feldkirch (7 games).



Ritten extends with Uusivirta

The Finn Lasse Uusivirta will play a second season at the Rittner Buam. Past season the 31-years-old defender played 25 games for the South Tyrolean Team, scoring thirteen points.



Lustenau signs Slovakian goalkeeper

The EHC Lustenau announced the signing of the Slovakian goalkeeper Juraj Simboch. The 29-years-old last played in Poland with KH GKS Katowice. His save percentage last season was .930. That was the best save percentage in the entire league.
