The HC Pustertal Wölfe, HCB Südtirol Alperia, EC-KAC and BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg announced further squad decisions on Monday evening and Tuesday respectively.

HC Pustertal Wölfe has confirmed its goalie duo for the upcoming win2day ICE Hockey League season with Andreas Bernard and Jacob Smith. Smith is entering his second year in Bruneck, appearing in twelve games (GAA 2.58) during the past campaign.

Andreas Bernard joins from local rivals HCB Südtirol Alperia. After making his Serie A debut with HC Bolzano in 08-09, the Caldaro native moved to Finland, where his career really took off and he was under contract in Finland, Slovakia, Sweden and Germany. The return to the "Foxes" followed last summer. 15 games he stood in the goal of the ICE-Runner-Up.

Fifth season for Halmo in Bolzano
For Mike Halmo his already fifth season is waiting in Bolzano, the fourth in a row. In 17-18 he made his debut for the "Foxes" - after that he moved to Finland and Germany before returning to the valley city for the 20/21 season and served as assistant captain in the last campaign. With 43 scoring points, the past season was his second-best in terms of points (20G|23A). In total, the Canadian has already played 235 encounters (169 points) for the "Foxes"

Ganahl stays in Klagenfurt
Manuel Ganahl will continue to play for the EC-KAC in the upcoming season. In 437 games for the Klagenfurt team so far, the 32-year-old scored 311 points (109G / 202A). 

Pioneers sign Canadian
The BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg were able to fill another vacant Legionnaire spot for 2023/24. Cédric Lacroix moves from the North American AHL to Europe for the first time and will strengthen the offense of the Vorarlberg team. Cédric Lacroix: "From my first conversation with Head Coach Dylan Stanley, I felt that the organization and I share the same goals and I'm looking forward to helping the club take the next step forward. I am a player who plays with my heart non-stop. Pioneers fans can expect me to be a forward who helps the team win games on a consistent basis with his work ethic, physicality and smart two-way play."
