The teams of the Alps Hockey League are working at full speed on their rosters for the upcoming season. While EC Bregenzerwald could extend the contract with top scorer Roberts Lipsbergs, Zell am See signed Canadian center Nick Huard. In addition, former Buffalo Sabres assistant coach Tom Coolen was named the new head coach of HC Meran/o.

EC Bregenzerwald extended the contract with Roberts Lipsbergs. The Latvian joined ECB in the summer of 2020 and was able to convince from the start. In the meantime, he has played 95 games in the Wälder jersey, scoring 62 goals and assisting to 92. In the past season, the 28-year-old finished eighth in the league-wide scorer rankings. Defender Felix Zipperle has also extended his contract with the Vorarlberg side.

Canadian center for Zell am See
The Ek Zell am See signed forward Nick Huard. The Canadian already stood out in his youth years with his incredible scoring quality.
