In the past few days transfer news was announced by some teams of the Alps Hockey League. So the HC Gherdeina valgardena.it signed the AHL MVP of the season 2019/20, the Canadian goalkeeper Colin Furlong. The S.G. Cortina Hafro and the SHC Fassa Falcons confirmed their head coaches for the upcoming season. Zell am See signed Christian Jennes from the HC TIWAG Innsbruck "Die Haie" from the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League.

Gherdeina signs Furlong
The HC Gherdeina valgardena.it signed goalkeeper Colin Furlong. The AHL MVP of the season 2019/20 played the past three seasons with the HC Pustertal. Among others, the Canadian reached the finals with the South Tyroleans in the season 2018/19. In addition, Val Gardena announced the contract extensions with captain Joel Brugnoli and defender Patrick Nocker.



Liberatore remains head coach of Fassa

Marco Liberatore will remain head coach of the SHC Fassa Falcons in the upcoming AHL season. It will be the 53-year-old's second season with the Italians.



Cortina extends with head coach Machacka

S.G. Cortina Hafro and head coach Ivo Machacka have agreed on a contract extension after the 58-years-old led the Italian team to the AHL quarterfinals and the semifinals of the Italian championship last season.



Returnee Zell am See signs Jennes

Christian Jennes will play for AHL returnee EK Die Zeller Eisbären next season. Both parties agreed on a two-year contract. The 24-years-old Austrian played for the HC Tiroler Wasserkraft Innsbruck (4G|3A) in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League last season. Before that, he played already with Klagenfurt and Feldkirch in the Alps Hockey League.
