Zintis Zusevics moves from Graz to Vienna. The 29-year-old Austrian spent most of his career with the 99ers so far. With 494 appearances for the Styrians, Zusevics is even their record player. Now the forward, who has scored 131 points in the ICE so far, signed on in Vienna. "The spusu Vienna Capitals always have a very strong squad, which the semifinal appearances of the past years also speak for. I wanted to get to know something new in my career and also celebrate success. I have heard only good things about the city and the organization. Those are the reasons why I accepted immediately after the spusu Vienna Capitals asked me," said Caps newcomer Zintis Zusevics.

Fehérvár signs McGauley
Tim McGauley returns to the win2day ICE Hockey League. The 27-year-old Canadian, who played in Innsbruck in the 2021/22 season before moving to Germany, signed with Hydro Fehérvár AV19 for the upcoming season. On the other hand, Brett Findlay, Daniel Szabo and Cody Donaghey will no longer be part of the Hungarian lineup.

Matt MacKenzie joins Black Wings
The Steinbach Black Wings Linz strengthened their team with Matt MacKenzie. The former champion with Slovan Bratislava and highest-scoring defenseman of the Slovak Extraliga season 2022/23 signed a two-year contract with the Upper Austrians. Matt MacKenzie was most recently a key player in the Slovak Extraliga for the Slovan Bratislava. In two seasons, the 31-year-old was one of the league's most dangerous defenders and was crowned champion in 2022.

MacKenzie has already been active in the ICE in the past. In the 2018/19 season, the right-shooter played for the HCB Südtirol Alperia and in the 2020/21 season for the Dornbirn Bulldogs. "I remember the arena and the passionate fans in Linz very well. I know some guys and I'm very happy to play with them again. It already feels like home. The development of the team was very impressive last season and I have a good feeling that we can go far in the playoffs," said the new signing.

Madlener extends with the Pioneers
World Cup participant David Madlener extended his contract with the BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg. The player from Feldkirch will thus continue to form the goalkeeper duo for the Vorarlberg team together with Alex Caffi in the coming season.
