Trio stays put with HCB Südtirol Alperia

The HCB Südtirol Alperia announced the contract extensions with forward Luca Frigo and the two defenders Stefano Marchetti and Daniel Glira. All three players signed a one-year deal and were part of Bolzano’s last championship winning team back in 2018.

After several years abroad at Omaha Lancers (USHL) and Kallinge/Ronneby in Sweden, the 26-year-old forward Luca Frigo headed back to Bolzano in 2016 and starts his fourth consecutive season with the foxes in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga on September 13th. To date, the Italian national team player showed up 184-times for Bolzano, posting 58 points (19G | 39A). Daniel Glira starts his fourth campaign for the two-time champion too, after playing exactly 200 games for the South Tyrolean. Old hand Stefano Marchetti, who was competing with the Italian national team at the IIHF world championship at Slovakia, plays his third consecutive season for Clayton Beddoes’ team. He already contested in 119 games in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga.
