Two Canadian forwards for Broncos

The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan strengthened the roster with Slater Doggett and Mathieu Lemay. Both Canadian forwards will head into their first overseas campaign. Further, the South Tyrolean extended the contracts with three more players. The HC Gherdeina valgardena.it inked a one-year deal with Finnish defender Mikael Kurki, while the EC Bregenzerwald and S.G. Cortina Hafro both announced contract extensions.

Two Canadian forwards reinforce Broncos’ offensive squad
The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan announced the signing of Slater Doggett and Mathieu Lemay. Both Canadian forwards head into their first overseas campaign. Doggett arrived from Queen’s University, where he played the past four seasons posting 149 points in 126 games and was named all-star twice. Further, he played 12 games in ECHL. Lemay last played for University of Québec-Trois-Rivières collecting 125 points in four seasons. With Paolo Bustreo, Daniel Erlacher and David Gschnitzer the Broncos resigned three players of last season. All three players stay for one more season.  

Finnish defender Mikael Kurki moves to Gherdeina
HC Gherdeina valgarden.it inked a one-year deal with Mikael Kurki. The 32-year-old Finnish defender last played for Karlskrona HK in Sweden’s second division. Early in his career he showed up more than 400 times in Liiga, Finnish first division, and was representing his home country at different youth world championships.  

Nick Trecapelli stays in Cortina
Nick Trecapelli stays at S.G. Cortina Hafro for another season. The 27-year-old Canadian has already completed 45 games in Alps Hockey League’s past season for the Italian side. He scored 7 goals and made 27 assists so far.
 
One new arrival and some contract extensions at EC Bregenzerwald
With Julian Auer the EC Bregenzerwald announced a new forward. The 20-year-old played two Alps Hockey League games for EK Die Zeller Eisbären past season. Further, the "Wälder" resigned Julian Zwerger, Felix Zipperle, Julian Metzler, Jonas Kutzer, Maximilian Hochenegg und Fabio Marte.
