Martin Castlunger of Fassa Falcons got automatically suspended for two games because of his third fight during the Alps Hockey League regular season.

According to the Arbitrator and after reviewing video evidence, player Martin Castlunger (#93) of SHC Fassa Falcons, time 57:44, engaged in a fight with an opponent deemed as Fighting IIHF Rule 141.

All three fights it was determined that the opposing player was not the instigator. Martin Castlunger (#93) was deemed a willing combatant, constituting his 3rd fighting major in the 2019/20 AHL season on 30.11.2019.

Martin Castlunger (#93) is suspended automatically for the ensuing Alps Hockey League game, according to the AHL Gamebook D | Casebook -§25 Rule141-Fighting | Automatic Supplementary Discipline (DOPS) | (2) which states “If a player is assessed a fighting major for the 3rd time or more during the Alps Hockey League regular season, such player is assessed an automatic two game suspension for each additional fighting major, in addition to any other penalties assessed.”
