Luca Zanatta can look back on almost 100 international games for Italy and four world championships. An injury plagued the defenceman last season, but he still led Cortina to two finals series (IHL and Alps Hockey League) as assistant captain. He started his career in Switzerland and played 5 years in the the "NLB". In Italy, the 33-year-old has so far only worn the jersey of Cortina; after hundreds of matches for the "Sportivi Ghiaccio", he will now wear the black and yellow of HC Pustertal.

Luca Zanatta: "HCP has always been a great team with great ambitions and a fantastic atmosphere. I will do my best to contribute to the team's success, reach the playoffs and get as far as possible!"

With Thomas Galimberti a young player will also get the chance. The 20-year-old has signed a two-way contract, which gives him the opportunity to also play for partner club Wipptal Broncos in the Alps Hockey League. The forward has spent the last three seasons in Finland.
