Vallant moves from KAC to VSV | Pustertal signs North American

Thomas Vallant has moved from the EC-KAC to the EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV. The defenseman signed a two-year contract with the "Eagles". The HC Pustertal signed the 28-year-old American-born Josh Wesley. The defenseman last played for the Utah Grizzlies in the ECHL.

Thomas Vallant can look back on an impressive career. Most recently he played for the EC-KAC, where he made a name for himself both in Austria and internationally. Vallant has also played in the Alps Hockey League and the EBEL, proving his versatility and consistency.

"The opportunity to play for VSV is a great challenge and honor for me. The away games in Villach have always been an absolute highlight of the season for me, so I'm looking forward to the team, the fans and the city of Villach," said Vallant about his move to VSV. The EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV also announced that the club has decided not to exercise the contract option on defenseman Layne Viveiros.

Pustertal signs US-American Josh Wesley
The HC Pustertal has signed the 28-year-old US-born Josh Wesley. The defenseman last played for the Utah Grizzlies in the ECHL. In Europe, the right-shooter already played for HC Litvínov in the Czech Republic in the 2022-23 season.

Josh Wesley: "I'm really looking forward to coming to Pustertal. I currently live in a place in the mountains myself, so it feels a bit like coming home. One of my favorite animals is the wolf, so I'm even more excited to wear the wolves' logo soon. I will try to do my best and contribute as much as I can to hopefully have a long season. My goal is to always win. I can't wait to meet you all and play in front of the passionate fans at Hockey Valley."
