Thomas Vallant passed through all stations in the juniors at the EC-KAC, just a few weeks after his 16th birthday he made his debut in the first team. In 2017, the Carinthian left the KAC and signed on with the Dornbirn Bulldogs. After two years in Vorarlberg, the defender also spent a season with the HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie before returning to Klagenfurt for the 2020/21 season. In the past season, Thomas Vallant was the only player in the squad oft he KAC to play all 65 competitive games in the win2day ICE Hockey League and the Champions Hockey League.

Thomas Vallant: "I am very happy that I can continue to play for my home club. Unfortunately, the past season was not at all what we had planned and what we would have been capable of. Accordingly, we've been working together for a few weeks now to do better next year. There's a lot of anger in our stomachs, and we definitely want to show ourselves from a better side again. I feel very comfortable with the team and the organization, and I can't wait to play in the new arena, which, unlike last year, will once again be a fortress. My personal goal is that I take the next step in my development as a hockey player and team athlete, I want to take on more responsibility, both on and off the ice."
