Dan Tudin's career with the Rittner Buam began in 2005, and since then the now 42-years-old has played 766 games in the jersey of the "Blue-Reds". Thus, Tudin has as many appearances as Emanuel Scelfo, who was the sole record player of the "Buam" so far. Dan Tudin, meanwhile, is the sole leader of another record: With 344 goals, the center is the record goal scorer of the club from Klobenstein.

"When Dan joined us, he was a foreign player like many others. But right from the start he got on very well with us and we with him. In the meantime, he has started a family and is a true Rittner who speaks our language and has integrated perfectly. I am sorry for the way he left, he would have deserved a great party. But we can always make up for that when times allow again. In any case, I would like to thank Dan for his professional commitment and his role model function on and off the ice and I wish him only the very best for his future," Ritten's president Thomas Rottensteiner said.

Sports director Adolf Insam also thanks Tudin for his commitment and immense achievements: "The decision was to be expected. He still showed incredible performances in the past years and was an important player in our team structure. How important he is became clear in the past two months when he was missing due to an injury. Dan Tudin is a great athlete who has been able to be active for so long largely because of his passion for the sport. He has had a great career. Over the past six years, it has been an honor to work with such a great player and person."
