Tauron Metropolia Silesia and Aisulu Almaty delivered an intense battle. The reigning EWHL champion led 3-0 after just 19 minutes, before the home side turned things around in the second period to take a temporary 4-3 lead. But then Almaty struck back in style: three goals in just four and a half minutes put the Kazakh team firmly on course for victory. The standout player was Breanne Trotter with two goals and one assist.

The second-placed EVB Eagles South Tyrol showed no weakness in front of their home crowd against the Lakers Kärnten. Annalisa Giuliani opened the scoring early and was later able to celebrate a hat-trick. In the middle period, the Eagles pulled away decisively to 5-0 and ultimately secured a convincing 8-0 win.

The DEC Salzburg Eagles also won their second game of the season and climbed up to third place in the standings.
