Victory of Feldkirch at the EC-KAC II

The VEU Feldkirch won their first game of the year at the EC-KAC II with 2-1. It was the third win in a row for the Vorarlberg team. For the KA2 it set the eleventh defeat from the past twelve games.

In an even game, it took until the 17th minute of play before Marcel Witting scored in the power play to make it 1:0 for the home side. For the 25-year-old it was the first goal in his first season appearance in the AHL. So far, the right wing has always been on the ice in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. He has scored three times in 25 games so far.

In the middle period, another goal was scored. This time the guests scored. Yannick Lebeda scored after Luca Kohlmaier's assiadt to make it 1:1. It was the third goal of the season for the attacker.

The decision in favor of the VEU was at the beginning of the final period. Left wing Kevin Puschnik scored in the 42nd minute of the game in the power play and secured the third win in a row for the Vorarlberg team. In the standings, the VEU moved up to the fourth place. Klagenfurt, which suffered its eleventh defeat in the last 12 games, remains in 15th place.
