Vienna extends with six local young stars

The spusu Vienna Capitals have pushed ahead with their squad planning for the 2021/22 season in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League and extended the contracts with local players Patrick Antal, Fabio Artner, Timo Pallierer, Armin Preiser, Lukas Piff and Bernhard Posch. Ty Loney, on the other hand, has left Vienna.

The Vienna sextet made a total of 154 appearances in the past bet-at-home ICE Hockey League season. Antal and Piff were also each named "Eisner Auto Young Star of the Month" for their performances. Piff ultimately won the year's election as well. Posch had been loaned to EC Bregenzerwald last season.

Ty Loney, on the other hand, will no longer be wearing the Caps jersey. The best ICE scorer in the past season with 37 goals will leave the Caps after two seasons.
