Looking back, how satisfied are you with your first Alps Hockey League season?
Vilim Rosandić: “For me personally, it was pretty good. I played a lot of games, stayed healthy almost the whole year, and that’s really important. For the team, it was okay. It was our first year, and for many guys it was their first time playing pro hockey. We had some good and very close games. Unfortunately, we didn’t make the playoffs, but I think it was still the right step for us.”

How has the Alps Hockey League shaped Croatian hockey, especially in developing young players?
Vilim Rosandić: “We had a lot of Croatian guys, a young team, so it’s definitely huge for hockey in Croatia and in Sisak. I think we’ve built a really great group here, and hopefully this is the start of a good future.”

With what expectations are you heading into the new season?
Vilim Rosandić: “This year, for sure, we’re aiming to make the playoffs. We also want to find more consistency throughout the season.”

Facing the Red Bull Hockey Juniors in the opener, what will be key for a strong start to the season?
Vilim Rosandić: “We had a good preseason with some solid adjustments to our system. Playing against the Red Bull Hockey Juniors, we know they’re a young team with a lot of speed, so it will be crucial to match that pace and set the tone with a strong game right from the start.”
