Villach and Innsbruck celebrate wins

After a 11 games-loosing streak against the Caps, the HC TWK Innsbruck booked a win in Vienna. The EC VSV confirmed the win of the past week against the Bulldogs and narrowed the gap to the top-6.

Villach booked second win against Bulldogs
In the first minutes the Bulldogs created more chances. But it was Jordan Hickmott for Villach, who opened the scoring in the 12th minute. The hosts were pushed by there goal and started to take control. The Bulldogs came back into the game in the second period. Timmins missed a big chance for the tie. In the 34th minute Fraser suceeded with the equalizer.  The teams neutralized each other in the final period. Then it was again Hickmott who found the decision. He scored the decisive goal in the 54th minute.
 
Innsbruck celebrates big win
It needed 14 minutes till the scoring was opened Fabio Schramm deflected a hard shot of Poulsen for the 1:0 leaf for Innsbruck. The Caps started the second period with a lot of pressure in powerplay, but the Sharks kept the 0. When Hunter Bishop came back from the penalty box he deflected a shot of Andrew Clark for the 2:0. It needed the 28 minutes till the leader of the league scored the first goal. Rafael Rotter crowned a solo with the 1:2. Jeremie Blain had good chances to recreate the two goals lead again, but missed. The final period had not too many big chances, the teams worked well on their defensive ends. Hunter Bishop created the final result of 3:1 with an empty-netter.
