Vipiteno wins in Cortina and takes over the lead in the standings

In the seventh game of the season it was the sixth win for the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan, who took the lead already in the seventh minute. Again only three minutes later the Broncos, who won for the second time in a row against Cortina, increased the lead to 2:0. The hosts struggled for long stretches of the game and it took until the 28th minute before the 450 spectators in the Stadio Olimpico could cheer for the first time. But the guests from Vipiteno were unimpressed and increased the lead to 3:1 48 seconds before the end of the period in the powerplay. Three minutes after the restart it was another powerplay goal of the Broncos that provided the preliminary decision. Both times Adam Capannelli scored. For the Canadian it was the second brace in the jersey of the Broncos. Seven minutes before the end of the game Cortina came close to 2:4 with a powerplay goal by Riccardo Lacedelli, but in the end the visitors celebrated a deserved away win.
