The following players have been nominated for October:

Miha Beričič (2004) – HK Olimpija Ljubljana
The 21-year-old Slovenian is in excellent form and has been nominated for the Young Star of the Month for the second time this season. In October, Miha Beričič recorded one goal and three assists along with a +2 rating.

Tommy Purdeller (2004) – HC Falkensteiner Pustertal
The reigning Young Star of the Season has also received his second nomination for Young Star of the Month this season. In September, Tommy Purdeller narrowly missed out to Paul Sintschnig. The 21-year-old Italian continues his strong performances from last season, tallying four goals and one assist in October — including one game-winning goal.

Elias Stöffler (2004) – HC TIWAG Innsbruck
So far, Elias Stöffler has appeared in 49 win2day ICE Hockey League games for HC TIWAG Innsbruck. The defenseman has scored twice in his career — most recently on October 29 against Linz. In October, the 21-year-old also posted a +2 rating.

David Waschnig (2007) – EC-KAC
At just 18 years old, David Waschnig is the youngest nominee for the Young Star of the Month October. The EC-KAC forward scored his first goal in the win2day ICE Hockey League on October 26 against Ljubljana — in his 31st league appearance. The Klagenfurt native made his professional debut last season.

Voting Procedure
A total of six monthly winners will be determined over the course of the season. Each month, four players are nominated and put to a public vote. The six monthly winners will then compete at the start of the Playoffs for the overall title of Young Star of the Season 2025/26.

The final results are based on two components: the fan voting on the league’s website and the votes from TV experts in Austria, Italy and Slovenia. In the event of a tie, the ranking will be decided by the results of the fan vote.
