The following players are nominated for the election in November:

Stefan Klassek (2003) - HC TIWAG Innsbruck
Things are not going according to plan for HC TIWAG Innsbruck at the moment, but with Stefan Klassek a young player can still impress. The 21-year-old from Klagenfurt, who even scored a goal in one game for his home club last season, moved to Tyrol in the summer. He has been on the ice for the “Sharks” in all 23 games so far. In November, the forward scored two goals in eleven appearances.

Vadim Schreiner (2005) - EC Red Bull Salzburg
With just 19 years, Vadim Schreiner is the youngest player nominated for the Young Star of the Month for November. The German is currently in his first season with the professionals of EC Red Bull Salzburg. In recent years, the center has come through the Salzburg junior teams and has also been part of the Alps Hockey League team since the 2022/23 season. In November, Schreiner appeared in five games in the win2day ICE Hockey League. In three games (@HCP, @AVS, PIV), the left-shooter even scored, and he also had a +/- of +2.

Patrick Söllinger (2004) - Steinbach Black Wings Linz
20-year-old Patrick Söllinger is the only defenseman nominated for the Young Star of the Month for November. The player of the Steinbach Black Wings Linz is playing his first full season with the pros. So far, he has appeared in all 22 games this season. In November, the native of Linz impressed with a goal and an assist as well as a +/- of +3. Söllinger recorded both points against the Carinthian clubs. The left-shooter scored his second goal in the win2day ICE Hockey League in the 6:4 home win against Villach and made the assist in the 4:3 away win in Klagenfurt.

Marcel Mahkovec (2003) - Olimpija Ljubljana

The 20-year-old Marcel Mahkovec has been nominated for the Young Star of the Month for the second time this season. After even being named Young Star of the Season last season, the Slovenian is seamlessly continuing his strong performances in the current campaign. In November, Mahkovec impressed in eight games with three goals, two assists and a +/- of +1. Notably, he scored all of his goals in the first three games of the month, marking the first time in an Olimpija jersey that he achieved a three-game goal-scoring streak.

Voting procedure
First, five monthly winners are determined. Four players per month are nominated to take part in the voting. Due to only a few match days in September 2024, the first two months have been combined into one election. The five monthly winners will then compete for the title "Young Star of the 2024/25 season" at the start of the playoffs.

The election consists of two components: in addition to the fan voting on the league website, the TV experts from Austria, Italy and Slovenia also vote. If two or more players receive the same number of votes, they will be ranked according to the result of the fan vote.
