EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV put in a strong performance in their second preseason game and celebrated their first win. The team from Villach beat the Alps Hockey League champions Zell am See 6:1. Maximilian Rebernig and Dylan MacPherson scored in the first period, the Carinthians extended their lead and ultimately ran out clear winners.

The Moser Medical Graz99ers and Adler Mannheim faced each other for the second time in four days in Kitzbühel. The Germans once again had the upper hand, winning 5:2. Mannheim were already 3:0 ahead after 30 minutes, but a double strike from Chris Collins (34th/PP) and Marcus Vela (35th) brought the Styrians back into contention. But Mannheim made everything clear in the final period.
