EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV recorded a “big win” on the road against HCB Südtirol Alperia and climbed to second place in the standings. Despite the hosts having more chances early on, the Villach side showed far greater efficiency and built a 2:0 lead by the 21st minute. After Bozen’s first goal, the visitors responded immediately with three straight tallies, extending the score to 5:1 by the 36th minute. The Foxes managed a late goal, but VSV sealed a convincing 6:3 win to leapfrog HCB Südtirol into second place.

Innsbruck wins goal-fest in Ljubljana
HC TIWAG Innsbruck, bottom of the table before the game, earned a thrilling 7:6 overtime win over leaders Olimpija Ljubljana. Ljubljana opened the scoring in the seventh minute, but Innsbruck replied quickly. Until 3:3 in the 33rd minute, the same pattern repeated: Ljubljana scored first, Innsbruck equalized. The Tyroleans then took the lead for the first time and scored three more times – each time answered by the Dragons – sending the game to overtime at 6:6. Max Coatta finally decided the contest for Innsbruck, while he and Sebastian Benker both recorded two goals each.

Graz win in Vienna live on ORF
The Moser Medical Graz99ers claimed a confident win over a heavily depleted Vienna Capitals side. Graz took control early and built a 2:0 lead by the 14th minute. Vienna responded in the middle frame through Dominic Hackl, but Lukas Kainz restored the two-goal cushion in the final period. With this 3:1 victory, Graz maintained their spot inside the top six.

KAC edge Pustertal in overtime
EC-KAC celebrated a hard-fought overtime win against HC Pustertal, keeping their chase for a top-six position alive. Nick Petersen, whose earlier goal was disallowed for offside, opened the scoring in the 18th minute. KAC doubled their lead midway through the second, but Pustertal struck back just 22 seconds later. The Wolves kept pushing and equalized five minutes before the end through Cole Bardreau. In overtime, Simeon Schwinger scored the winner for Klagenfurt.

FTC-Telekom celebrate blowout victory
FTC-Telekom capped off an almost perfect weekend. After Friday’s overtime win against Graz, the Budapest newcomers followed up with a dominant 6:0 home victory over Pioneers Vorarlberg. FTC controlled the game from start to finish, leading 2:0 after the opening frame and 5:0 after two. In the third period, Jussi Tammela completed his brace to make it 6:0, keeping FTC in touch with the middle of the standings.

Fehérvár defeat Salzburg at the buzzer
After eight straight losses against the reigning champions, Hydro Fehérvár AV19 finally defeated EC Red Bull Salzburg again. The hard-earned home win was sealed in dramatic fashion. Salzburg took the lead on a power play in the fourth minute, but Fehérvár turned the game around by the 23rd. Florian Baltram equalized for Salzburg in the second period, before Anze Kuralt netted the game-winner on a power play just three seconds before the final buzzer.
