In March 2022, win2day became the title sponsor and official betting partner of the ICE Hockey League. After more than two and a half successful years, the provider of online sports betting and online gaming has exercised the granted extension option. The new agreement runs for a further two seasons - including the 2026/27 season.

League President Dr. Alexander Gruber: “By pulling the option from win2day, the league now has a good basis again to look optimistically into the near future. We are very proud that we have been able to successfully integrate the sponsor's latest suggestions into our program and thus confirm their trust. This cooperation is enriching for both sides, and we are convinced that we will continue to convince win2day in the extended contract period. win2day has already done a lot for the entire sport of ice hockey through its sponsorship and other marketing activities. Together, we want to continue to get more people excited about the sport of ice hockey - the current increase in spectator numbers shows that we are on the right track.”

Georg Wawer, Managing Director of win2day: “win2day stands for ice hockey in Austria. Our declared aim with the league is to expand the circle of fans every year. Our young people need role models - after all, players are also role models. At win2day, we promote fair play values every day and bring this to our partnership with the league. Rising viewer numbers are proof that both the format and the sport in general are developing positively. We are extending the games with digital content, running competitions on our channels and want to make the sport of ice hockey even more popular. Because ice hockey is a family-friendly happening and the league is one of the top leagues in the world.”
