99ers Move Up to Third Place
The Moser Medical Graz99ers cruised to a commanding 4-1 victory in their second matchup of the season against HC Pustertal. The star of the game was Lukas Haudum, who netted twice and played a pivotal role in the win. With this result, the 99ers leapfrogged the idle reigning champions Salzburg in the standings. Despite missing key players in defense due to injuries, Graz controlled the pace of the game throughout. Aggressive forechecking kept Pustertal under constant pressure, and the hosts were rewarded with first-period goals from Rok Tičar and Lukas Haudum (2-0). Graz maintained their dominance in the later stages and secured a comfortable 4-1 win. For HC Pustertal, it marked their eighth consecutive defeat.

Black Wings Climb to Fourth
The Steinbach Black Wings Linz celebrated a comprehensive victory on Wednesday night, blanking an undermanned and largely ineffective Pioneers Vorarlberg team. The home side seized control early, building a commanding 3-0 lead by the 16th minute. The Pioneers never managed to get back into the game, struggling to generate any meaningful offense. The Black Wings extended their lead to 6-0 by the final whistle, equaling their season-high scoreline (8-2 vs. Asiago). With this win, the team from Upper Austria climbed to fourth in the standings.

Bozen Defends Top Spot with “Grande Classico” Victory
HCB Südtirol Alperia retained their lead atop the win2day ICE Hockey League standings with a dominant win in the prestigious “Grande Classico” against Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey. Despite conceding an early goal to the Foxes, Asiago held their own in the opening period. However, from the second period onward, Bozen took full control, cruising to an emphatic 5-0 victory. Michele Marchetti shone with a brace as the Foxes recorded their fifth consecutive win.

Fehérvár Keeps Pace with Bozen
Hydro Fehérvár AV19 secured a 3-0 shutout against Olimpija Ljubljana, keeping the pressure on league leaders HCB Südtirol Alperia. The opening frame belonged entirely to the home side from Székesfehérvár, who took the lead in the fourth minute with a highlight-reel play. However, despite their dominance, the Hungarians couldn’t add to their tally in the first 20 minutes. Ljubljana came back strong in the second period, equalizing with a powerplay goal in the 27th minute. Fehérvár stayed composed, eventually sealing the win with the game-winning goal from Cameron Gaunce.
