The fourth final game in the Alps Hockey League between SIJ Acroni Jesenice and EK Die Zeller Eisbären is scheduled for Sunday. The Austrian´s currently leads the best-of-7 series 2:1, meaning the Slovenians are under pressure and need a home win to prevent match pucks for Zell am See.

On Thursday, the “Polar Bears” secured a narrow 4:3 victory in a spectacular home game. Jesenice led 2:0 and 3:2 in the meantime before Aljaz Predan scored the game-winner with 76 seconds left. It was the first home win in the final series so far.

At the start of the series, Zell am See lost 1:3 at home, but bounced back in the second game with a clear 4:0 away win in Jesenice. It was the Slovenians' first home defeat in the current playoffs. Zell am See, on the other hand, is still unbeaten away from home in the postseason so far.
