EK Zeller Eisbären handed league leader KHL Sisak their first home defeat of the season on Thursday. The Pinzgau side overturned a 0–3 deficit and claimed victory in overtime. HC Migross Asiago also celebrated a comeback win, while the Rittner Buam SkyAlps climbed to second place. Clear home wins were recorded by Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel and HDD Jesenice.
KHL Sisak and EK Zeller Eisbären delivered an intense top-game battle. The hosts took an early lead in front of nearly 1,000 fans — Karlo Marinkovic scored just 59 seconds into the match. In the middle period, the Croatians extended their advantage with two quick goals to make it 3–0. But in the 40th minute, the reigning champion began its comeback: Tim Coffman and Tyler Cuma struck within just 51 seconds. In the third period, EKZ captain Max Wilfan forced overtime, where Coffman scored again to seal the road victory. Despite the loss, Sisak remains atop the standings, while Zell am See stays in sixth place.
HC Gherdeina suffered a bitter home defeat, falling 2–3 to HC Migross Asiago after shootout. Simon Pitschieler opened the scoring for the hosts after just 24 seconds, and Hannes Kasslatter added another in the 13th minute. Gherdeina controlled most phases of the game but let the lead slip late. Lucas Chiodo converted a penalty shot in the 54th minute, and Robert Calisti tied it one minute before the end. In the shootout, Nicholas Porco completed the turnaround and secured the away win. Asiago climbed to eighth place, while Gherdeina dropped to third.
Bottom-ranked Unterland suffered their fifth straight defeat but managed to earn a point against the Rittner Buam SkyAlps. Following a scoreless opening period, the visitors — who held the majority of puck possession — went ahead through Kevin Fink. The home side equalized in the final period as Gabriel Zerbetto sent the game to overtime. There, Simon Kostner’s precise finish gave the visitors the win and lifted Rittner Buam to second place.
Fans in Kitzbühel were treated to 11 goals as the home team recorded a clear 8–3 victory over HC Meran. The Tyrolean side laid the foundation for success early, winning the first period 5–0. Alexander Maxa and Niklas Ketonen each scored twice. After two losses, the fourth-placed Tyroleans returned to winning form.
HDD Jesenice celebrated their second straight win, defeating Hafro Cortina Hockey 3–0 at home. After a goalless first period, Tjas Lesnicar put Jesenice ahead in the 33rd minute. Despite Cortina registering more shots, Jesenice goalie Zan Us kept a clean sheet with 30 saves. In the final period, Tom Sojer doubled the lead before Jasa Jenko sealed the result with an empty-net goal. Jesenice moved up to tenth place, directly ahead of Cortina.
