EK Zeller Eisbären extended their lead in the standings with a derby win against Red Bull Hockey Juniors. The visitors got off to a good start in front of more than 2,000 spectators and were 2:0 up after eight minutes. In the second period, the hosts found their way into the game better and the two teams now had an open exchange of blows. In the 38th minute, the home side pulled one back thanks to a power play goal by Tyler Cuma. In the third period, Zell am See even turned the game in their favour. Four seconds before the end of regulation Vadim Schreiner scored to make it 3:3 and it went into overtime. In the extra session it took only 34 seconds until Tomi Wilenius scored for the home victory. Although Salzburg got more shots goalwards (40:26), the guests had to admit defeat once again after four previous victories.

Unterland wins at Jesenice
The Unterland Cavaliers, on the other hand, made an impressive comeback after four defeats. The South Tyroleans celebrated a 5:2 victory at Jesenice. The visitors were 2:0 up early in the middle period, but the reigning champions equalised within 33 seconds. Unterland had an answer ready, however, and pulled away to a 5:2 lead within ten minutes. Aleksi Käyrä got two goals and two assists. Jesenice remained in second place, but is only one point ahead of Sterzing.

Sterzing and Ritten in third and fourth place
The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan prevailed against Fassa at home. Although Sterzing was the better team throughout the game (52:20 shots on goal), the Falcons led 2:1 after two periods. The Broncos turned the game around with a brace from Connor Sanvido and are also currently the best home team in the Alps Hockey League thanks to the 3:2 win.

Following their victories against HC Gröden, the Unterland Cavaliers and the Wipptal Broncos, the The Rittner Buam SkyAlps now also won against HC Meran Pircher on Thursday evening, thus beating every South Tyrolean opponent in the Alps Hockey League so far. After a goalless first period, both teams scored three each in the middle period. The home side pulled away in the final period, with Kevin Fink scoring twice in a 6:3 win. Ritten moved up to fourth place in the standings.

Kitzbühel, Lustenau and Celje successful
Kitzbühel took revenge for their clear away defeat almost three weeks ago with a 5:2 win over the EC-KAC Future Team. After a close first period in which Jimi Kuronen (4th) gave the KEC a 1:0 lead and the KAC equalised on power play through Stefan Klassen, the home side won the game in the third period. After the 3:2 by Joonas Niemelä (53.), Chris Seto (57./60.) ensured clear conditions with a brace. The Tyroleans remain in seventh place.

EHC Lustenau returned to the winning track. In a varied game, the Vorarlberg team prevailed at Gardena. The guests took the lead four times, the 4:3 by Kevin Puschnik in the 48th minute also meant the game winner. In the end, the Lions won 5:3. Gardena failed mainly on power play - the home side could not use any of six power plays and could not capitalise on a 5-on-3 situation in the final period. Lustenau moved up to tenth place, the team from Selva is now at the bottom of the table.

Celje managed their fourth home win of the season. After a goalless first period, the league newcomer took the lead against the Steel Wings, but the Upper Austrians equalised soon after. Finally, the Flajs twin brothers provided the decisive goals for the hosts: first Zan put the Slovenians ahead again, in the final period Jan lit the lamp for a two-goal lead. Although Linz recorded almost twice as many shots on goal (38:20), Celje finally celebrated a 4:1 victory. The Slovenians moved up to 13th place, only one place behind Linz.
