Zell am See took a 2:0 lead after 28 minutes, shortly afterwards Cortina made it 1:2, but they were unable to equalize.

Jesenice inflicts another defeat on Ritten
In the second game of the Master Round, defending champions Rittner Buam SkyAlps lost 3:6 at SIJ Acroni Jesenice. It was the second defeat in a row for the “Buam”, which means they are now only in fourth place in the table. In a very entertaining game, especially in the final period, the new runners-up from Slovenia were 2:0 ahead after 26 minutes. At the end of the second period, the score was 2:1. After the restart, things got really turbulent: Jesenice initially pulled away comfortably to 4:1, but the victory they thought they had secured was almost given away, as Ritten came back to 3:4 with four minutes to go. However, two late goals in the last 20 seconds meant that Jesenice still ended up with a clear victory on paper, celebrating their first win in the third game of the Master Round.

Victories for Sterzing and Meran in Qualification Round A

It then took until the 37th minute before Fabian Hackhofer increased the lead to 2:0, also in overtime. The Broncos scored the remaining two goals in the 47th and 54th minutes. It was the third shutout of the season for the WSV goalkeeper Dominik Groh, who saved all 27 shots.
