Zell am See continued its run of success, winning its sixth game in the Master Round on Tuesday. It didn't look like it at first in the home game against Ritten. The South Tyroleans were 3:0 ahead in the 16th minute thanks to goals from Alex Oberrauch, Sebastiano Soracreppa and Robert Öhler. The home side reduced the deficit in front of over 2,000 spectators before the first period break with a powerplay goal from Matt McLeod. After the Salzburg side scored another goal in the middle period, a spectacular third period followed. Zell am See turned the game in its favour and a brace from Robin Johansson even gave them a 5:3 lead. Ritten managed to close the gap to one goal in the final minute, but the home side celebrated a 5:4 victory. The Pinzgau team thus also secured victory in the Master Round and heads into the play-offs as the top seed.

The second game of the day also saw a comeback victory. Cortina were 2:0 ahead at home against Kitzbühel after the first period thanks to two powerplay goals. In the middle period, the visitors also scored with a man advantage, but Mikael Saha immediately restored the two-goal lead. After Kitzbühel closed the gap to one goal before the second period break, they turned the game in their favour in the third period. Johannes Tschurnig, Jakob Engelhart and Anthony DeLuca scored within 100 seconds to make it 3:5, with Chris Schutz finally adding another goal for the 6:3 final score.
