HC Orli Znojmo have welcomed 25-year old power-forward Petr Beranek (CZE) and 23-year old defenseman Rene Piegl (CZE) on a Tryout.

HC Orli Znojmo have already started the ice-practice at the beginning of this week. The team was joined by all international players and two new tryout additions as well. One of them is a returning player Petr Beránek: The 25-year old power-forward has already spent two seasons with the "Red Eagles" in the Erste Bank Eishockey League (2012 - 2014). Besides, he has with 25 years of age a lot of experience in Czechs first division as well as abroad. Petr Beranek went for goals and points for AZ Havirov and VHK Vsetin in Czechs second highest League past season and scored 23 points (10G/13A) out of 51 games. Besides, Beranek is a former player of Czech U20 national team.
He is joined by 23-year old defenseman René Piegl, most recently playing for HC Frýdek Místke in Czechs second division. Piegl is a young and physical defenseman.
The players are facing a 2-week intensive training with the first pre-season game coming up on August 14 against regining Czech Extraliga champions HC Kometa Brno.
