The HC Tesla Orli Znojmo has faced economic difficulties since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, which already resulted in a championship break two years ago. The club has not been able to provide the necessary confirmations for the upcoming season so far and will not participate in the win2day ICE Hockey League after the final decision of the league presidium.

Asiago and Jesenice have applied
With Alps Hockey League champion Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey and AHL runner-up HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice two teams have applied, in addition to Team Vorarlberg. The presidium and the management of the win2day ICE Hockey League are in close exchange with both representatives. An economic and technical review is currently being carried out, as is the case with Team Vorarlberg. In addition, the negotiations for the return of the iClinic Bratislava Capitals are close to completion.
