The defender played for Ambri-Piotta in Switzerland's top league in the last two seasons and was able to gain important experience. Kilian Zündel also played six games for the spusu Vienna Capitals in the ICE last season. Zündel previously played for the EC Red Bull Salzburg and made 60 games (1G / 5A) in the 2021/2022 season.

Kilian Zündel: "I see a lot of potential in Graz, especially with regard to the new structure of the club. I also want to develop as a player and take on more responsibility in the future, as well as play an important role in the team. We now have to grow together as a team."

Sporting director Philipp Pinter: "I'm very pleased that Kilian has decided to join the 99ers. I've known him for a few years now and his development is going from strength to strength. I am sure that he will take the next step in Graz and that we will have a lot of fun with him. He's a modern defender, very mobile in terms of his running and also insanely poisonous in tackles. A top athlete who also fits perfectly into our squad in terms of character."
