The Moser Medical Graz99ers had to become active on the transfer market once again. Since goalie Niklas Lundström leaves the Styrians for health reasons, Christian Engstrand moves to the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. Niklas Lundström has to leave the Moser Medical Graz99ers after 17 games, in which he recorded a save percentage of 91.4%, for health reasons. "I liked it very much in Graz and I thank the 99ers that I could find my form again. Due to health problems it is unfortunately not possible for me to continue playing. I now want to go back home to my family to fully recover," said the Swede.

With the healing process for Anthony Peters continuing for some time, the 99ers have reacted. With Christian Engstrand a new goalkeeper was signed. The 33-year-old Swede played in the 2014-2015 season for Hydro Fehérvár AV19, Engstrand had a save percentage of 91.9% in 21 regular season games, in five playoff games he could improve again with 92.5%. In addition, the newcomer brings a lot of experience from the SHL, where he stood for Linköping and Mora 164 times between the posts. The last two years Engstrand was first in action in the HockeyAllsvenskan and this year played nine games for Nove Zamky in Slovakia.

"I didn't have to think twice when the offer came. I am already looking forward to Graz and want to help the team to be successful," says newcomer Christian Engstrand, who will wear the number 31. The goalkeeper has already started training with the team and will make his debut next week.
