Not less than 10 games are schedules in Alps Hockey League this weekend. On Saturday three top duels take place, when the still undefeated EK Zeller Eisbären are hosting the HC Pustertal. A second team with clean hands – Hafro Cortina - is playing on the road against vice champion Asiago Hockey. Also, the Rittner Buam aim to prolongate their winning streak against the FBI VEU Feldkirch.

HDD Acroni Jesenice captured four points after two games. The Red Bull Hockey Juniors already have four games in their legs but without success so far. The youngest team in the league is currently lacking of scoring efficiency. After 130 shots on target only 5 found their way into the goal. Against Jesenice it will be tough again, as their goaly – Clarke Saunders – has a saving percentage of more than 95 % so far.

Also the EC-KAC 2 is still without success in the young season of Alps Hockey League. The EC Bregenzerwald ended last season on the 15th place. The start of this season was way more successful. They already captured six points after three games and are on the 7th place.
23.09.2017 FBI VEU Feldkirch - Rittner Buam 19:30 Uhr

The FBI VEU Feldkirch have a tough draw this weekend playing against the acting Champ of Alps Hockey League. Feldkirch captured three points in two games so far and lost against Fassa last weekend. The Rittner Buam states remained sovereign this season with no defeat. But they shillyshallied against Lustenau a few days ago but won by one goal difference. With Bradly Cole, Andreas Alber and Ploner three players are missing for Ritten.
23.09.2017 EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau - WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan 19:30 Uhr

The EHC Alge Elastig Lustenau is hosting the WSV Sterzing Broncos. Sterzing started very successful and took the fourth place after three games. Sterzing is extremely successful in their powerplay situations so far. In 19 powerplay situations they scored seven teams.

The EK Zeller Eisbären are hosting one of the top games this weekend. After three rounds the polar bears are still undefeated. But on Saturday they are playing against one of the favorites this season – HC Pustertal. The wolves booked two clear wins, but had to take a defeat against Coritna.
23.09.2017 HC Fassa Falcons - EC 'Die Adler' Stadtwerke Kitzbühel 20:00 Uhr

The HC Fassa Falcons booked one win so far as well as the EC Kitzbühel. But the Falcons already absolved one game more. Kitzbühel booked a clear success against newcomer HK Olimpija Ljubljana but got defeated by EC Bregenzerwald.

The HC Gherdeina captured three points out o two games. The newcomer HK Olimpija booked it’s first ever success in Alps Hockey League a few days ago with a blow out against Fassa. Gherdeina kept recently the pace of Cortina for 40 minutes, but got defeated with 7:4 at the end.
23.09.2017 Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey - S.G. Cortina Hafro 20:30 Uhr

The vice champion Asiago Hockey hosts the S.G. Cortina Hafro in the top duel of this weekend. Cortina had a perfect start so far and are with 9 points out of three games the top of the league. Asiago went in overtime in in two out of three games and have six points after three games. With a full success they are drawing level with Cortina. For Asiago Giulio Scandella is celebrating his comeback; Josef Foltin is still out until next week.
24.09.2017 EK Zeller Eisbären - EC Bregenzerwald 18:30 Uhr

“Double Duty” for the EK Zeller Eisbären and EC Bregenzerwald. After already having games on Saturday the two teams are battling for further three points on Sunday.
24.09.2017 HC Neumarkt Riwega - HK Olimpija Ljubljana 19:00 Uhr

Also the HK Olimpika Ljubljana is in „double trouble“ after facing on Saturday HC Gherdeina, they are stopping by in Neumarkt on their trip home. Neumarkt is still without points after three games and will throw all their weight to chance this situation.
