Migross Supermercati Asiago managed to beat BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg for the second time in 24 hours in the only Wednesday game of the win2day ICE Hockey League. After the comeback win the day before, the northern Italians followed it up with a commanding 4-1 victory.

Five points is the score for Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey in the doubleheader with BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg. After a comeback and a show of strength in overtime was necessary the day before, the northern Italians presented themselves more efficient over the entire game on Wednesday. Mark Simpson's second goal of the evening gave the "Yellow-Red" the lead in the 34th minute, which was extended to 4:1 by the end. Asiago thus reduced the gap to the top-10 to five points. The Vorarlberg, on the other hand, lost the connection to the rest of the field due to the two defeats against Asiago. Layne Viveiros provided the Pioneers' only goal of the evening.
