EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau and HC Fassa Falcons open this Alps Hockey League-week on Tuesday: While the Austrians try to get closer to the Top 8, the Italians try to end their bad road-run. Leader Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 welcomes HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice on Wednesday. The Italians could make history, no Alps Hockey League-club has celebrated 15 consecutive wins so far.

EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau (12.) welcomes HC Fassa Falcons (16.) on Tuesday. The Austrians need points to get closer to the Playoff spots. In this moment the Lions miss eight points for place 8. The "Vorarlberger" will play their fifth consecutive home-game. In the year 2018 the Austrians have celebrated two (home-)wins so far. Lately the Lions have been defeated by HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice 2:5. The Austrians welcome HC Fassa Falcons with good memories, because the Vorarlberger have won the last three meetings with the Italians. The Falcons try to end their bad road-run in Lustenau.The Italians were left without points in twelve consecutive road-games since middle of October 2017. Besides Fassa has no chance to reach the Playoffs 2018.

Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 (1.) could make history in their home-game against HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice (3.) on Wednesday! The Italians, who took over place 1 for the first time with a win in Ritten on Saturday, could be the first team celebrating fifteen consecutive wins in the Alps Hockey League. The "Yellow Reds" have won their last 14 games and equalized the record of Champion Rittner Buam. The Leader won the last three meetings with the Slovenes, inter alia the first season-clash in Jesenice 4:3 after Overtime. With Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 and HDD SJ Acroni Jesenice the two best offensive clubs will face each other as well: The Red Steelers netted already 140 goals from 33 games, the Italians scored 131 times in 33 rounds. Besides with Asiago and Jesenice the second best home team will welcome the second best road-club. The "Steel Citizens" have been successful in their last two road-games and have scored eleven goals. Both clubs are already qualified for the Alps Hockey League Playoffs 2018.
