At the three-nation tournament in Oslo, Hungary and Austria faced host Norway. The Hungarians suffered a 5–4 overtime loss to the Norwegians in their opening game despite twice taking the lead. Roland Kiss and Bence Stipsicz, both from Hydro Fehérvár AV19, were among the scorers.

On Friday, Austria won the all-ICE showdown with a convincing 4–1 victory. After István Terbócs had put Hungary ahead, the ÖEHV team turned the game around. Salzburg’s Benjamin Nissner equalized, and Lenz Moosbrugger of the Moser Medical Graz99ers sealed the final score. In the decisive game on Saturday, Team Austria fell 2–5 to host Norway and finished the tournament in second place.

Meanwhile, Slovenia showed promising form at the parallel event in Edinburgh, Scotland. They opened with a 4–3 win over Poland, with all goals scored by players from the win2day ICE Hockey League: Rok Tičar (twice, Pustertal), Anže Kuralt (Fehérvár), and Marcel Mahkovec (Ljubljana). A 4–2 victory over host Great Britain followed, thanks to goals from Blaž Gégorc (Ljubljana), Luka Maver (Linz), and again Mahkovec. In their final game, the Slovenians were defeated by tournament winner Ukraine and, like Austria, finished in second place.
