Austria won the final of the Austria Cup in Klagenfurt 1:0 after overt time. Benjamin Baumgartner scored for the red-white-red team to win the tournament. Italy beat Hungary in the match for third place.

Austria remained unbeaten at the four-nation tournament in Klagenfurt and won the tournament. After beating Hungary 3-0 in the semi-finals on Thursday, head coach Roger Bader's team beat Poland 1-0 after over time in the final. After a goalless regular time, Benjamin Baumgartner scored the winner in extra time.

Italy takes third place
In the match for third place between two ICE nations, Italy celebrated a 2:0 shutout victory over Hungary. After taking a 1-0 lead in the first period, HCB Südtirol Alperia forward Pascal Brunner made the difference with his goal in the 57th minute.
