Christof Kromp of the spusu Vienna Capitals was automatically suspended for one game due to his second fight in the current win2day ICE Hockey League season. The 26-year-old forward will therefore miss Vienna's road game at Innsbruck, on Friday, December 22nd.

According to the Arbitrator and after reviewing video evidence, player Christof Kromp (#37) of spusu Vienna Capitals, time 55:22, engaged in a fight with an opponent deemed as Fighting - IIHF Rule 46.

Neither fight was it determined that the opposing player was the instigator. Christof Kromp was deemed a willing combatant, constituting his 2nd fighting major in the 2023/24 ICE Hockey League season on 20.12.2023.

Christof Kromp is suspended automatically for the ensuing ICE Hockey League game, according to the ICE Hockey League Game Book - Part I | Disciplinary Measures | Fighting - Automatic Supplementary Discipline (DOPS) | (1) which states “If a player is assessed a fighting major for the 2nd time during the ICE Hockey League regular season, such player is assessed an automatic one game suspension, in addition to any other penalties assessed.”
