The György Pásztor trophy for the best Hungarian defender in the 2019/20 season was awarded to Bence Stipsicz. The 23-year-old national team player, who also reached the final stage of Olympic qualification with Magyar Jégkorong Szövetség, has been awarded this trophy for the second year running. The Budapest born defender has been under contract with Hydro Fehérvár AV19 for three years - and also for the coming season. In the past season, he brought a great deal of stability to the Hungarians' ranks and scored 15 scorer points (4G | 11A) in 48 matches.

After being named best striker in the preseason, János Hari was awarded the Miklós Cup for the most technically skilled player for the 2019/20 season. The 28-year-old first started the season in the Finnish Liiga at the Pelicans (1G | 11A) before being awarded to EC Red Bull Salzburg in mid-December. In 18 matches he scored 16 scorer points (4G | 12A) for the "Red Bulls". At the Hungarian Olympic qualifying tournament in Nottingham, the former Fehérvár player scored seven points in three games.
