In addition to the formal agenda items, a vote was held on Wednesday on the number of participating teams and the present applications for admission to the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. After HC Orli Znojmo had to temporarily withdraw for economic reasons following the 2019/20 season, the Czechs' application for return was approved during the general assembly. With HC Pustertal and HK SŽ Olimpija Ljubljana, two other international clubs also received the necessary majority for admission to the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. The application of bemer VEU Feldkirch, however, did not find a majority. Since the Vorarlberg team has basically fulfilled the necessary requirements for league entry, their applicant status remains valid. Decisions on the topics of "roster regulations" and "game mode" will be made at a later date.

"The high demand from applicants has put us in the fortunate position of being able to increase the number of league clubs. The majority of the owners have voted in favour of a championship with 14 teams. We warmly welcome HC Orli Znojmo back to our league. Furthermore, we are convinced to have won two more members with great potential in HC Pustertal and HK SŽ Olimpija Ljubljana. Together we have made a great commitment to our international league and taken the next important steps towards a successful future," reports League President Kommerzialrat Mag. Jochen Pildner-Steinburg on the basic decision to increase the number of clubs to 14.

René Dimter announced in the run-up to the general assembly that he would be stepping down as vice-president of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League due to his varied and time-consuming duties. In an election held, Franz Kalla was appointed as the new vice president. This means that league president Kommerzialrat Mag. Jochen Pildner-Steinburg will now be joined on the presidium by the manager of the spusu Vienna Capitals, alongside Dr. Karl Safron and Dr. Dieter Knoll.
