The Black Wings 1992 are at the top of the table after the second round of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League due to a shutout victory over the Moser Medical Graz99ers. The HC TWK Innsbruck is also still unbeaten and holds on to the maximum of six points. The spusu Vienna Capitals made a great start to the season and defeated league debutant iClinic Bratislava Capitals. Successful season for Vienna Capitals
The league newcomer iClinic Bratislava Capitals had to accept a 2:7 defeat against spusu Vienna Capitals in its premiere match. The Viennese also played their first match of the season on the second day of play and made a custom-made debut. The guests from the Austrian capital took an early 2-0 lead. But the first goal for the Slovaks was also scored in the first period by Mitchell Hults. Especially the Viennese newcomer Collin Campell could not be stopped by the hosts. Already in the middle third the Canadian made his hat-trick perfect and scored 5:1 after 40 minutes. The Viennese finally won 7:2 and thus celebrated the most goals in one game in the still young season of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League.

First win of the season for the EC-KAC
Both the Dornbirn Bulldogs and the EC-KAC started with a defeat in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. Live on puls 24 Klagenfurt succeeded in a hard fought 3:1 victory to guest in Dornbirn. This extended the run of the EC-KAC against the Bulldogs to nine wins in a row in this duel. Rok Ticar opened the scoring in the starting third. The Bulldogs pressed for the equalizer in several situations in numerous advantage. The comebacker Daniel Woger finally succeeded in doing so in the middle third. In a hard-fought final period, Nic Petersen finally brought the KAC back into action in the 53rd minute. In the final period, the Bulldogs had to put up with an emptynetter, which brought them their second defeat in their second game of the season.

Late goals bring Linz to the top of the table
After the Black Wings 1992 celebrated an opener victory against the EC-KAC, the Linz-based team followed up with a shutout victory over the Moser Medical Graz99ers to take the lead in the table. After defeating Fehérvár against the Black Wings, the Grazers were defeated 2-0 by two late goals. In the first two periods, the two goalies were in the spotlight and did not allow any goals to be scored. It took almost 48 minutes until the goal siren sounded for the first time this season in the Linz ice arena. Dragan Umicevic overcame Ben Bowns 1-0, and a few seconds before the end Juha-Pekka Hytonen established the final score of 2-0 for the Black Wings 1992.

Innsbruck still undefeated
HC TWK Innsbruck remain unbeaten after the second game of the season. After the west derby against Dornbirn the Innsbruckers celebrated a 4:3 victory over EC GRAND Immo VSV. For the Adler it was already the second defeat in the second game. The guests from Innsbruck started resolutely into the match and took a 3-0 lead in the first 20 minutes. Daniel Ciampini scored twice. Innsbruck held the three-goal lead in the middle period, before the Villach team made it even more exciting in the final period. A little more than six minutes before the end, the home side scored the 3:4 follow-up goals. However, it was no longer enough for the equalizer. The sharks are therefore equal in the table with the leaders from Linz.
