• KHL Medvescak Zagreb got fewest PIM (179) so far, while EHC LIWEST Black Wings Linz are the best team in Penalty Killing (PK%:  89.7).
• Zagreb’s Sondre Olden has potted at least one goal in three consecutive clashes with the Black Wings. Besides, Sebastien Sylveste (MZA) and Dan DaSilva (BWL) have been successful in both season-meetings so far. Black Wing Brian Lebler is on fire as well, the Austrian forward has already potted nine goals out of six goals after the November Break. Lately, Lebler and Rick Schofield as well have scored goals in three consecutive games.
Quotes:
Aaron Fox, Headcoach KHL Medvescak Zagreb: „We expect Linz to come out and play a solid 60. They are coming off a good win in Villach on Tuesday. We are still struggling with injuries so will need to play a smart game and limit our turnovers. We will need to be ready to outwork and outbattle them. Our special teams need to step up on both sides to give us a chance to win.“
David Kickert, Goalie EHC LIWEST Black Wings Linz: „We play as a team much better right now. We have to continue the same way in the following games too.“
