Blake Parlett is from Bracebridge (Ontario) and after starting his career in the youth teams he signed his first contract in the American Hockey League in 2010: until 2015 he brought it to 311 appearances between Regular Season and Playoff in the second highest American championship, scoring 32 goals and 87 assist. He then moved to the KHL, staying with Medvescak Zagreb for two seasons and finishing the second in the Liiga in the jersey of Tappara Tampere. There he played a major role in winning the title after 18 playoff games with 5 goals and 3 assists and was the defenseman with the most goals scored in the postseason. In the same year he also won the Spengler Cup with Team Canada. In 2017 he moved to the DEL in Berlin, followed by another year in the KHL in the jersey of Kunlun Red Stars, then it was back to Germany (Munich, where he also participated in the CHL), before returning to Tampere, this time for the full season. From 2021 to 2023, he played for the Nürnberg IceTigers, where he was promoted to assistant captain last year. In total, he scored 14 goals and 41 assists in 187 DEL appearances.

Blake Parlett: "After several offers in Europe, the opportunity arose for me to come to Bolzano. I know the team there and also the area, last year I crossed sticks with the Foxes in the Vinschgau Cup with Nuremberg: also I had the opportunity to talk with my friend Christan Thomas, who told me about the environment, the cabin and the whole organization, which made my decision easier. Another reason that I chose Bolzano is the winning mentality of the club: I know that last season was excellent, in game 7 of a final series anything can happen, so I am convinced that the will to duplicate such a positive season is there, with the difference this time to get to the end. I want to win, everything else is of no importance to me".
