The recently somewhat weakening leader of the table HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice made a strong statement again on Thursday. The Slovenians prevailed with 10:1. HC Gherdeina had to accept the second defeat in a row after nine wins before. The league leader took full control from the start and already led 4:0 after the first period. Patrik Rajsar recorded a hat trick in the clear success.

KAC ends losing streak
The EC-KAC Future Team was able to end its negative streak after the last six defeats. The young team from Klagenfurt beat the Vienna Capitals Sliver 6:3. The last team in the table therefore did not manage to further reduce the gap to the field. The scoring was opened already in the first minute by the hosts. After trailing 1:4 in the middle third, the capital team fought its way back into the match and cut the deficit to 3:4 by the 56th minute. However, the Klagenfurt team acted in a cool-headed manner in crunch time and eventually prevailed 6:3.

Juniors stay close to top-3 team
The Red Bull Hockey Juniors continue their run of success. The win against Kitzbühel was already the seventh in the last eight games - the Red Bulls scored in all of the last eight matches. However, the success against Kitzbühel had to be hard-fought. The Salzburgers were ahead in both the first and second periods - but the Eagles were able to equalize promptly in each case. In a hard-fought last period, Quirin Bader finally made the decision in the 59th minute. For the Eagles, it was already the ninth defeat in the past ten games.

Revenge by the Steel Wings successful
Almost exactly a month ago, the Steel Wings Linz were defeated by the EK Zeller Eisbären with 2:3. Today, Thursday, the revenge was just as close. However, the Polar Bears had the more successful start and took a 1:0 lead in the first period. In the second period, however, the Upper Austrians ignited the turbo and made it 5:1 from their point of view. Then, however, the run of the Polar Bears started, who could even equalize until the 50th minute. Brodi Stuart finally ensured the decision for the Upper Austrians in overtime.

Cortina wins against Feldkirch
After two derby victories, BEMER VEU Feldkirch had to admit defeat against S.G. Cortina Hafro. Cortina won 5:1 against Feldkirch after the defeat against the Zeller Eisbären. This extends the away crisis of the Vorarlberg team, who could only win one of nine games. Cortina is back among the top-10 teams of the Alps Hockey League after the success. However, Feldkirch still had the better start on Thursday night and took the lead after just over a minute before Cortina ignited the turbo. Luca Barnabo' laced a brace and finally brought his team to a 5:1 victory.

Fassa takes revenge on Merano/o
The SHC Fassa Falcons succeeded in taking revenge against the HC Meran/o Pircher. After the league newcomers had won 3:2 on October 2, the Falcons took revenge with a 5:4 victory. Meran/o started with a double in the first period and extended the lead to 3:0 in the first period. Still in the second period, however, Fassa turned the match around and went in front 4:3. Meran/o equalized in the final period, but Steven McParland gave the visitors the decision in the 51st minute.
