Brunner already made his debut in Bolzano in the 2022/23 season, on loan from Merano, and secured a permanent place in the Foxes' team the following year. On January 27, he scored his first goal in the win2day ICE Hockey League against the spusu Vienna Capitals, followed by his first playoff goal on March 24 in the semifinal against Salzburg.

Pascal Brunner started playing hockey in his home town of Merano, but moved to Switzerland at an early age. He played from U15 to U20 in Davos, then moved to the U20 of Bern and made his debut in the Swiss League with EHC Visp in the 2021/22 season. He then returned to Merano and made his debut in the Alps Hockey League: in 31 games, he scored 25 points (13 goals and 12 assists), making him the team's most successful Italian forward. At the same time, he played his first 13 games with Bolzano, his first friendlies with the Italian national team (2 goals) and was called up to the First Division World Championships in Nottingham at the end of the season, where he scored his first official goal in an Azzurri jersey. Last season he also played 5 games for Merano (4 goals and 2 assists).

Pascal Brunner: "The first year in Bolzano was very instructive for me both athletically and personally. I learned a lot from my teammates. In the coming season, I want to get even more ice time and make the most of every opportunity to help the team even more. We have a clear goal in mind and will do everything we can to achieve it."
