  • For the second time within a week, the HCB Südtirol Alperia faces the Steinbach Black Wings 1992. Last Friday, the South Tyroleans celebrated a 3:1 away win at the Upper Austrians. While Linz played two more games since that match, this is the first encounter for Bolzano since the win in Linz.
  • The game can be watched via Pay-Per-View-Livestream on live.ice.hockey. In addition, Video33 TV will broadcast the game live for all Italian viewers.
  • Bolzano has won the last three games all together and is in fifth place in the table with 19 points from only eight games. The Steinbach Black Wings already played six more games, and with eleven points from 14 games, the team from Linz is in tenth place. On Tuesday, Linz achieved the first victory after five consecutive defeats.
  • In the H2H the Black Wings lead with 29:24. The HCB has won six of the last ten duels. In addition, at least four goals were scored in each of the past seven duels.
  • The Foxes from South Tyrol are at the top of the league in both the Powerplay and the Scoring Efficiency. Out of 30 powerplays they scored 10 goals (33.3%). The scoring efficiency is 12.45%. BWI is in tenth place in this statistic with 8.27%.
  • Even though Linz has nothing to do with the top places in the table at the moment, they have the best scorer and the player with the most points in their squad. Captain Brian Lebler scored his ninth goal this season on Tuesday, making the 32-year-old the sole leader of the gaol scoring ranking. Dragan Umicevic leads the scorer ranking with 21 points (8G/13A). With 13 assists, the 36-year-old Swede is also the best assistant scorer in the league.
  • At the HCB only long-term injured Ivan Tauferer is missing.
